 Q&A

  • The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, so we recommend arriving by 2:30 PM to give yourself time to settle in and not miss a moment.

  • We kindly ask guests not to take photos or videos during the ceremony. We’d love for you to be fully present with us in the moment—plus, we’ll have a professional photographer capturing everything to share with you afterward!

  • We kindly ask guests to dress in formal attire suitable for an outdoor celebration. Evenings can get cool, so we suggest bringing a warm layer just in case. To help create a joyful, colorful atmosphere, we ask that women avoid wearing white, off-white, black, or silver. We also recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable for walking on grass—thin heels like stilettos may sink into the ground.

  • August in Paraguay usually brings mild temperatures, with warm days and cooler evenings. That said, the weather can be unpredictable—sunshine, wind, or a sudden chill are all possible. We recommend dressing in layers, bringing a jacket or shawl, and checking the forecast before packing to be prepared for anything!

  • International flights to Paraguay are in and out of Asuncion (ASU), the capital city. There are several flights from major US gateways each day, all of which involve at least one stop. Areguá is located about 30 minutes by car east of the airport. US citizens do not need a visa to enter Paraguay. However, you will need a valid US passport with at least six months of remaining eligibility prior to expiration.

  • Car rentals are available at the airport (Hertz, Alamo, etc.) but we only recommend this for adventurous drivers who have some driving experience in foreign countries. Uber / Bolt works well in Asuncion and Areguá—you can use the apps to request a ride directly from the airport without needing to prebook.

We hope you’ll join us on this special day.
